It is a collection of minimal songs. The sound of the piano is integrated, and sometimes transformed, into an electronic flow. This musical research addresses the world of elusive emotional and sensitive currents. The songs capture time and dilate it slightly. The sound develops between light and dark, pauses, fragments, changes of speed, a reality that is constantly recomposed. This offers space and openings to the ever-changing flow of memory. This condition can produce spontaneous meditations.
A suspended presence induces floating. The waterfall starts from the center of the head. It goes down to the bottom of the sea. Svetasvatara upanisad describes a particular fog that is visible to the meditator's eyes. The shortness of the light makes the length of the day brilliant. A careful listening highlights the fine line between day and night. “Fog, smoke, wind, fire, fireflies, lightning, crystal, moon: these are the preliminary apparitions that herald the absolute”.
This collection of songs has been in my computer for years. Always undecided whether to publish it. Very simple, straightforward. Sparse. Minimal. It's music I've kept to myself. Listening to it from time to time. As often as I needed silence and solitude. I would look for it in the evening, when the beginning of darkness, was coming. In those moments the superstructures fall away. Only the essentials remain. Simplicity, positively modulates the breath.
